Hello All!

So, I have been horrible about taking pictures and horrible about blogging. The days just seem to get away from me and the next thing I know, a month has passed and I still haven't gotten anything done. For those of you who don't know, we are expecting baby number 2. I'm about 19 weeks along and the new arrival should be coming in October. At this time, no, we don't know what we are having and no, we are not going to find out. The only way we will know anything is if the ultrasound tech makes a mistake! Knock on wood that they don't! Yes we would like a boy, but in all honesty, we just want another healthy, happy baby. Mallory doesn't really understand it all yet, but if you ask her where the baby is, she will tell you 'in the belly.' I would like to have attached the first ultrasound picture, but I'm waiting on my husband to build me a stand for my scanner. Until then, you will just have to picture it in your mind. This pregnancy has been...while to put in mildly, much different from my first. There have been more issues, but I'm finally starting to feel better and hopefully the next 21 weeks go by smoothly! We will keep you posted on the doctor visits and the growth of this little one!

As for Mallory, she is growing and growing. In 15 days she will officially be a two-year-old and I'm not so sure how I feel about that yet. She is busy all the time and learning more and more every day. She is talking in full sentences and knows things that would make you do a double take and say "how do you know that?" She amazes me. I'm hoping that by her second birthday we will have started to ween her from her crib to her big girl bed. We just need to finish putting it together.

School is nearing the end and we are so looking forward to it. We have a lot to do this summer and can't wait until we have our days to get it done. Our BIG project is getting the landscaping done. We have started working on it, but due to our lovely weather here in MT, it is too muddy to get anything done right now. We are hoping that it will all be done by the 4th of July and then we can have a big celebration at our house. Crossing our fingers on that one!

Fenway is doing pretty well. We definitely need some warm weather so that he can get outside more. And grass would be nice. I'm not a huge fan of the mud that comes into our house. We are hoping that he does just as well with the new baby as he has done with Mallory. He is gentle with her and she thinks he is just the greatest.
I think that about covers most of it for now. I will leave you with a few new pictures of Mallory. Have a great rest of your May!

She is helping me bake some banana bread. If you look closely at her forehead in the second picture, you can see the mix on her head!
She loves the slide at the park!
